Recap: The party went to carnival to find a portal to Prismeer, there are three hags making up the Hourglass Coven that have taken the missing items. The party plans to steal the magic watch from Mr. Witch to ransom it back to them for answers.
PB decided to wrestle some goblins for a ticket punch and won
Everyone but Melina participated in the giant snail race
The race track was 480 ft total, progress denoted by numbers each round

Barnabus won a potion of advantage
The carnival was starting to close up shop as most of the patrons headed toward the big top for the crowning of the grand monarch
The party made their way there
Barnabus went in the back with Dirlagraun and Mr. Witch to stand in the box seats
Fable was going to be crowned the monarch with Mr. Light in the center of the tent
Melina and PB sat in the crowd to watch and provide support
Amrynn stood by the entrance in order signal Burley to fire the fireworks
While walking with Mr. Witch, Barnabus thought he saw Melina behind him but then noticed her in the stands
Mr. Light enters the big top followed by Candlefoot and announces the beginning of the crowning as he makes a big show of “finding” the monarch and lands on Fable
Candlefoot presents a hatbox with a crown made of butterfly wings inside, he has Fable kneel and then Mr. Light places the crown on Fable’s head then taps each of her shoulders with the WitchLight vane
As Palasha started to sing, Amrynn stepped outside to signal Burley to fire the fireworks but Burley was pale
A small child with a pig mask and dragging a giant lollipop standing next to him
Getting closer, he notices that Burley is literally frozen solid standing over the fireworks
PB noticed Amrynn stepped out but the fireworks didn’t go off yet and went to see what was up
Amrynn moved closer and the small child focused on him
Inside the procession continues until Mr. Light stopped and looked around expecting the fireworks
Amrynn move just close enough and then shot fire from his hands at the fireworks and the child
The child stepped forward and whacked Amrynn with the lollipop, knocking him unconscious
PB yelled inside that Amrynn was in trouble trying to get Melina’s attention but she didn’t notice
PB split the child in half with his battle axe then dragged Amrynn over to the front of the tent
The treant, Northwind, from the dragonfly ride came over and fed Amrynn an acorn and said “I’m sorry” before immediately leaving the tent
Taking advantage of the distraction, Barnabus snipped the chain of Mr. Witch’s watch
Mr. Light starts directing people out the back of the tent with Fable and Melina following on a tour around the carnival
Barnabus ran over, grabbing Kettlestream on the way and then used his magic to heal Amrynn
PB investigated the body, he noticed that there wasn’t a lot of blood and it was so pale that it didn’t seem like it was alive
Mr. Light led the procession back to the front of the tent
Now that most of the carnival goers have left, Amrynn explained that he was attacked by the child
Mr. Light motioned for Mr. Witch to punish them but Mr. Witch couldn’t find the watch
They said the need the watch to move the carnival or else they would be sent back to their old carnival
They made a carnival when they left the Shadowfell and traded carnivals with the owner of the Witchlight Carnival, an eladrin who made a deal with Zyblia
Everything that has gone missing from the carnival has gone through the Hall of Illusions through to Feywild
Something has changed in Feywild and they haven’t heard from Zybilna
Dirlagraun asks that the party look for her child Star and gives Melina a portable hole
Burley gave Amrynn an immovable rod
Candlefoot gave Barnabus a rope that will knit itself back together if cut
Fable gave back the crown but gained the charm of a monarch, can give herself wings and advantage on charisma checks 3 times
PB got a bottomless jug
Mr. Witch says that Thaco will give them supplies that the carnival should have (he can sell us basic items, let DM know before next session)
In the hall of Illusions, Mr. Light and Mr. Witch’s reflections are older shadar kai (elves from Shadowfell)
They stop in front of one of the mirrors and say to repeat the phrase: “Hither thither, here and there, wander yonder, show me where”
They do and a portal opens on the mirror and the party makes their way through
As Fable is the last to walk through, they stop her and say:
“Mind the rule of three, future, present, past
Find the alicorn and free the dormant queen at last”
And then she goes through
