The party emerges in the Feywild, standing at the beginning of a raised and broken causeway about 100 ft high with several broken sections that crosses over a bunch of vegetation and the a swamp based on the smell
Behind them, the causeway continues into a thick fog
The pillars of the causeway have handholds that descend downward
Out to the west, a balloon appears in the sky spinning out of control like it’s punctured, there is a wicker basket dangling below
The balloon spins down and lands into the swamp east of the causeway
The party descends the handholds into a marshy area filled with wildlife and swamp creatures
Several voices can be heard in the distance and it turns into a marching song as they approach
Six harengons pulling a giant snail appeared out of the marsh carrying clubs
They announce that it is a robbery and that they want to take a feeling of delight from their most priceless moment and recognize Fable as “royalty”
After talking a bit, it is clear the party won’t be giving them anything, they decide to attack
The party manages to fight them off with Melina killing several of them single handedly
Melina freaked out a little after the battle because she was covered in blood
The snail was frightened but Amrynn could tell it was domesticated so he tried to calm it and noticed it had a saddle bag of sorts full of carrots
They named the snail Gary
On the lead harengon, PB found a gourd full of liquid and could tell it was somewhat magical, he gave it to Amrynn
The party takes a short rest while Melina skins the rabbits, Amrynn summons a raven familiar
The continued on through the swamp towards the fallen balloon
They come to a small stream, about 10 ft wide but it is clear unlike the rest of the swamp
Melina sticks a spare sword in the water and notices that instead of her reflection, she sees a figure in a black robe ascend into a tower and it’s shadow separates from it going through a window in the tower
PB came forward and didn’t see the same image, a grotesque woman sits in water while toad-like versions of herself pour water in it
Barnabus saw a satyr in a metal cage dangling over a lake and whistling
Fable saw two marrow (fish-like beings) swimming past each other under the water
Amrynn sees a large frog, a bullywug, in the trappings of a monarch on a throne with a crown of lily blossoms, flipping through a tome on his lap
Continuing to look into the stream doesn’t yield any further visions and just normal reflections
PB walked across the stream with no ill effects so the rest of the party followed except Fable who rode Gary the snail across to avoid getting her cat fur wet
The stream seems to stay clean even as it washes the swamp’s muck from the party’s feet
Continuing on, they come to a crumbling stone tower rising from the swamp, leaning at an angle that seems like it would fall over
The base of the tower is covered in thick brambles extending tens of feet in every direction
At the top of the tower, the balloon is hanging over the top with the wicker basket dangling from it
A whispered voice asks for help from the top of the tower
A metal bird cage in the basket is a fairy dragon named Sir Talavar, knight of the Summer Court
He said he pilot bullywog died, and asked for them to be quiet since there was two serpents waiting for the basket to fall
He is in a cage because the High Pavlorna didn’t want him talking to the Summer Court
Melina edged he way forward and could see the two giant constrictor snakes waiting below the tower
