Inside the Inn at the End of the Road, it is sparsely populated but the interior seems totally normal
Tsue Harribachs, the inn keeper offered food and drink and said there are rooms as well
Three rules in Prismeer enforced by Zybilna:
- Rule of Reciprocity - if someone gives you a gift, you are required to return the gift for something of equal value
- Rule of Hospitality - if someone comes in your home, you must treat them well
- Rule of Ownership - you can’t take things that are not yours
The inn used to get travelers from all over before The Coven took over and trapped Zybilna in her palace
She gave some more information about happenings
Hither is currently ruled by Bavlorna Blightstraw and she killed many of the inhabitants who are now sheltering in the inn
The residents are being harassed by Agdon Longscarf the harengon and his bandits at Brigand’s Tollway and further west by bullywug in Downfall
A wine-drunk patron in dark clothing called Tsue over and said the “League of Malevolence” requires service and she stepped away
A goblin, named Jingle Jangle, covered in keys, carrying a flail made of locks, explained the other rules and said that the harengon bandits took his truffles
He said that he really likes truffles and keys
After telling him that they killed some of the harengon, Jingle Jangle gave Barnabus an old iron key that he said would be useful when going after Bavlorna Blightstraw
Barnabus bought some stew and pie from the hobgoblin staff for the party
Tsue came back and said that the inn is stuck in Hither and can’t leave due to the fogs
Thither is ruled by Skabatha Nightshade and Yon is ruled by Endolyn Moongrave
She said that the party will need to deal with the hags to get our lost items back
Water will raise up to 5ft before draining through the O-Wells, she suggested that we get a boat and use that to travel during the high tide
She also showed the party a map of Hither
She said the wine-drunk lady was named Skylla and that the “League of Malevolence” was really just her but she likely works for the hags
The Summer Court is ruled by Titania and has dominion over much of the Feywild and generally represents cheer and happiness
The Winter Court is ruled by the queen of air and darkness and generally represent “colder” emotions
Different fey are aligned with either court
Agdon Longscarf was imprisoned by Zybilna but the hags released him when they took over
It would be difficult to cross through the swamp without getting through Brigand’s Tollway, but it might be possible to avoid the stump where Agdon is
A duergar huntsman, named Spinnaker Driftwood, is talking to an empty stool but it turned out that there was an invisible person sitting there, they were talking about how to turn back visible because the other person turned invisible and wandered into a mirror maze (maybe the Hall of Illusions?)
The party then decided to rest and was directed to the top floor of the inn
After resting, they set out towards the Brigand’s Tollway
Amrynn’s raven flew over the area, a dense fog covered the central area where Agdon’s stump is but he can see several different harengons on the causeways
They decide to press forward with Melina sneaking forward to catch the first harengon off guard and killed him without a sound
PB tried to sneak forward in the swamp (“navy seal style”) but ended up getting seen
Melina ran after but ended up falling off the walkway into the swamp
They were able to finish off the remaining harengon and planned to move further into the Brigand’s Tollway
