They headed out for Loomlurch early in the morning
Will said there are 11 kids they need to free and to wait for the scarecrows to start screaming
The main entry point into Loomlurch is a root bridge that goes over a small stream, it leads into a clearing with several stalls where goblins are selling various candies
There is a lead goblin standing in the middle, who appears to have a large apple on his head who introduced himself as Chucklehead
He asked if they wanted to buy any candy, but all of them were various bugs somehow made into candy
Amrynn said he was interested in a wholesale candy deal and wanted to talk with someone in charge of production
Chucklehead said he could tell they wanted to meet with Skabatha and would be fine to set that up
He said that the goblins had come to burn down the log to save his daughter Yvelda but that doesn’t matter now because he is selling candy now
He went off to set up a meeting with Skabatha after warning the party to beware of dealing with the hag and not to mention the crank on her back
After a few minutes, he lead them to an antechamber with a small table set for tea surface
There is a painted box with a crank on the side (like a jack in the box) in the corner of the room
The door creaks open and a small old lady opens the door, she has skin like bark and a large iron key protruding from her back
She starts serving cold tea into dirty tea cups, she pulls a chicken bone out of her shawl and stirs the tea before handing it out
She asks what she can do for them
Barnabus said she had something of his but she countered and said it was currently hers
Skabatha asked them to capture Will and bring him back to her as “he belongs to her”
It seems that the ticking of the wind up key in her back speeds up as she gets more agitated and slows down as she calms down
After a short time, a wailing scream draws her attention and she excuses herself, going back through the door she came through, likely to deal with the screaming scarecrows
PB and Barnabus were unable to get up out of their chairs and felt a slimy tongue on their feet as the armchairs come to life, it turns out they were mimics
The party was able dispatch them with minor wounds
Melina busted through the door into the workshop area with several toys in production
There are three children Now, Song, Philomena
Other kids are in the other workshop, two are in the bunkhouse, two are in the textile mill, and one is chained up in the kitchen
The kept moving into the far room which has a spiral staircase with one door before continuing further up with 6 dollhouses, with another jack in the box
Melina opened one of the dollhouses and attacked the tin soldier within, the other houses opened with the other soldiers emerging
